What services do you offer as a tour guide?

As an Israeli tour guide, I offer various services that cater to different needs and preferences:

  • Private individuals or group tours

  • Guided tours for families or businesses

  • Customized itineraries based on interests and preferences

  • History, culture, and religious-themed tours

  • Outdoor activities and adventure tours

  • Food and wine tours

Are your tour guide services available in multiple languages?

Yes. I personally provide guided tours in British English.  My colleagues can provide tours in Arabic, Hebrew, French, Croatian and even Aramaic!

How far in advance should I book a tour?

It's advisable to book your tour at least one month in advance. This is to guarantee availability, especially during peak tourist seasons when our schedules fill up quickly. However, last-minute bookings may still be accommodated based on availability. To fix an agreed time in the diary you need to send a 50% deposit.

Can you accommodate special requests or needs during the tour?

I strive to provide each guest with a memorable and personalized experience. If you have any special requests, dietary restrictions, mobility needs, hearing issues, or other concerns, please inform me in advance, and I will make the necessary adjustments to the itinerary or arrangements.

What are your rates for tour guide services?

My rates vary depending on factors such as group size, tour duration, transportation requirements, and other specific needs. In general you need to expect a price of at least USD100 per hour for the guiding services (excluding transportation, accommodation, entrance fees, and any food or drink you choose to purchase), but for a more accurate quote, please get in touch with me directly to discuss your specific tour requirements.

How do payments work and is a deposit required?

A 50% deposit is always required to secure your booking. The remaining balance can be paid at the beginning of the first day of the tour, either in cash or via a credit/debit card. Detailed payment information will be provided during the booking process.

Do you offer any discounts or special packages?

I occasionally offer discounts to close friends and family, seasonal promotions, and special package deals. Make sure to check the website for updates on any ongoing offers and promotions.

What should I wear and bring on a tour?

Comfortable clothing, appropriate footwear (for any extended walking we recommend closed shoes and socks - not sandals), and weather-appropriate accessories (big floppy hats, sunglasses, umbrellas, etc.) are essential for a pleasant tour experience. It's also essential to bring and use sunscreen, to carry (and remember to keep drinking!) water, and bring a small backpack for personal belongings. When visiting religious sites, it's necessary to dress modestly and cover shoulders and knees. Additionally, you definitely want to bring any essential personal medication and of course a camera or smartphone for capturing memorable moments.

What if I have to cancel or reschedule a tour?

Cancellation and rescheduling policies vary depending on the specific tour and the time of the cancellation request. Please refer to the cancellation policy set out in the terms and conditions. It's always better to inform me as early as possible to ensure a smooth and hassle-free change of plans.
